    5 ways to a good Health

    Research shows that more than 60 percent of Americans are officially overweight, and more than 30 percent are obese.
    Obesity is an abnormal accumulation of body fat and is responsible for illness, disability, and death.
    What then is perfect health? We all have our definitions of perfect health, but the general definition has to do with being in top condition both physically and mentally.
    However, The key to perfect health can be summed up in five words: Eat less and exercise more.
    The Five P’s of perfect health.
    1. Proper Exercise
    Having regular exercise. Walk, run, swim, etc., to get your heart rate up to a high level for at least thirty minutes three times a week. People who exercise regularly soon find it much easier to do, and will always look forward to it, so make exercise a daily habit.
    2. Proper Diet
    As Ben Franklin said, Eat to stay alive and not stay alive to eat. The secretsto proper diet are lean sources of protein, a variety of vegetables, and lots of water.
    3. Proper Weight
    Always check your weight at all times, maintain the body weight you feel is alright for you, and you will be more happierand relaxed.
    4. Proper Rest
    More than 60 percent of adults do not get enough sleep. They sleep too late and wake too early, this can lead to poor performance throughout the day and at the long run might lead to physiological illness. You also need eight hours sleep per night. You also need to observe breaks from work regularly, during weekends and vacations.
    5. Proper Attitude
    The happier and optimistic you get about your life, the more you will be able to take good care of your health and well being because you will literally show ‘self-love’ and subsequently the better your health in all areas.
    Another aspect of health that most people are concerned about is overweight issues.
    Losing weight is like keeping a profit and loss account,you need to shed more calorie than you consume to lose weight.
    To lose weight permanently, first thing to do is to create a clear MENTAL image of how you will look when you are at your ideal weight,you then begin a gradual process of permanently changing the quality and quantity of what you eat.
    Here is a simple 3-step to lose weight fast.
    1. Cut Back on Sugars and Starch
    Get rid of simple sugar and starch from your diet.Simple sugaris contained in candy, cake, soft drinks, desserts, and other forms of sugar you consume in large quantity daily. When you start doing this you begin to lose as much as one pound per day.
    2. Ban white flour products
    Eliminate all white flour products from your diet, this means pastries, buns, rolls and anything made with white flour.
    White flour is an “inert substance” from which all nutrients have been removed and then bleached out. There is no food value in a white flour product.
    3. Eliminate additional salt and replace with water.
    Although the average American gets sufficient salt in all the food sources, he consumes an extra twenty pounds of salt each year by eating food that is high in salt content and also adding additional salt to meals.
    When you consume excess salt, your body retains water in other to hold that salt in suspension. When you stop consuming salt and simultaneously drink aboutseven glasses of water everyday, your body releases all the excess fluid and you can actually start to experience drop in weight of as much as four or five pounds in the first day.
    Above all, these steps are for you to apply self discipline and you need to be honest with yourself so that you can achieve that perfect health you so desire.
